Player Reassignment Tool

Low Minor Assignment

The low minor assignment tool is actually rather poorly named. You can assign any player to any team, and they won't necessarily end up in Low Minors. Only players who have never appeared in a game will end up in Low Minors. All other players will end up in AAA. This is one tool to be very careful with, as it's possible to leave a Major League roster with less than 25 players!

There are only three pieces of information needed for this tool.

Player ID:
Team ID:
Password:

The player ID is the ID of the player to be moved. If you are unsure how to do this, read the appropriate section in the Rename Player article found here http://forums.csfbl.com/content.php/102-Rename-Player. As is always the case, the player must be in the league you are in context of.

The Team ID is the ID of the team who will RECEIVE the player, not the ID of the team giving up the player. As with the player ID, simply bring up the team and copy the ID from the URL. The team ID must belong to a team in the league you are in context of.

Again, the password is your CSFBL password, not your forums password.

Once all fields are entered, click the Submit button.

Also, as was discussed in the Rename Player article, it is a best practice to keep the player card page open, so you can refresh and view the player on their new team. Again, the error reporting does not work on this page.

The Low Minor Assignment tool can be used to complete traded for teams over the league salary cap, can be used to reassign players from free agency to any roster, or can simply be used to move a qualifying player from Active, or AAA, to LM of the team they already belong to.

Moving a player with the Low Minor Assignment Tool will place news items on any impacted team news feeds, as well as on the league transactions page.
