Low Minors Position Changes

Low Minors Manager Tool

Every team has a Low Minors Manger Tool, accessible at the top of the team's "Manager" page. This tool enables you to move a player to a different position while still in the minor leagues.

Here's how it works:

Every preseason, you can adjust the position of any hitter in your low minors. If the player remains in low minors for the full season, he will show up to preseason the following season at the new position.

When you use the tool to move a player to a new position, you will see an estimate of what their new RA and GL will be if/when they convert to the new position.

The tool allows for players to move as far "to the right" (to an easier position) as you'd like. In other words, a SS can move to any position you choose. Players improve their defensive ratings when they move to the right.

Players can move 1 or 2 spots "to the left" (to a harder position) per season. In other words, a first baseman can move to a corner outfield spot or third base, but can't move to shortstop, second base, or centerfield. Defensive ratings decrease when players move to the left.

You can only use the tool to move a player in one direction. Said differently, once a player is moved right using the tool, he can’t be moved left using the tool in a following season. Once a player is moved left using the tool, he can’t be moved right using the tool in a following season. You can move a player in the same direction up to 3 times in the low minors.
